I will survive...

DH is scheduled for surgery in 3 weeks and will need a total of 3 months to recover. He will have his cast removed 2 days before my due date.

I am having gallbladder attacks (thinks the doc) and am going in for more tests tomorrow.

LJ has nightly rehersals for The. Wiz.ard of O.z. and shows running through July 5th.

EJ is breech and only in the 25% for weight, and I can't figure out how to stop losing weight.

And, the only "vacation" I was going to get has been cancelled due to flooding at the location.

I know, it could be much worse... but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm afraid blogging will most likely have to wait.

((hugs)) you know how to find me when things slow down, and maybe you could try protein shakes for the weight? I've heard it's good, ask your doc ;) x

Oh no- I'm so so sorry that you've got so much on your plate right now. This absolutely sounds like a hard time, and I'm thinking about you and sending you positive vibes...I wish I could help you get through.

I hope everything is ok with your gallbladder. I understand that you can't post...but if you have a minute, keep us updated.
Lots and lots of hugs.

Those gallbladder attacks, is that where you get excrutiating pain shortly after eating something? Maybe 1-2 hours after perhaps?

If so, I had that, and wouldn't wish it in anyone. And the ultimate solution for me was to remove my gallbladder. In the meantime, I quickly learned to eat carb-rich, plain foods. Avoid really fibrous things, like raw veggies, and also things with lots of fat, like salmon. Brocolli was my nemesis, still is.

I stuck to a lot of pbjs during that time. That may also be why you are losing weight, it's just really hard to eat.

Good luck, sorry to hear about all the issues.

Oh that sounds like such a lot of heavy things to carry in your heart - sending big hugs, wish I could wave a magic wand.
