A Great Big Sigh of Relief

I just spoke to the IVF coordinator for my clinic. As it turns out, I won't actually be using all of these needles for injections. A lot of them are just to draw up the medication. Instead of 3 shots a day, I get to mix the meds together in a mixing vial, and then just do 1 shot.

I am SO much happier today! I might be able to do this after all! =D

Yes!! That is great news :)
I don't know how many needles a day I'll be doing-hopefully the same!

Wow, that's great you can combine it all into one shot. My clinic says I have to do each drug seperately, even though one is such a tiny amount. So it's been 3 shots a day for 5 days now and I'm getting pretty sore. Wonder why some clinics let you combine them and some don't.

Okay, that sounds much more managable. So glad it was cleared up for you!

You CAN do this! I would highly recommend getting a calendar that has large dates or a list for each day. At each appointment, you might get new dosages. It totally helped me when going through IVF because one of the side effects of the process is forgetting everything except your own name.

Holler if you need anything. Good luck!
